Escapism & Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria

Sometimes we delve into the imagination to escape from reality. Sometimes that’s through watching tv shows or reading books and other times it can be through alcohol. It’s quite obvious which ones really aren’t healthy but a small amount of escapism, I’ve found through experience, is actually quite healthy. Problems arise when we are using escapism too much and end up not really living our lives in the present.
